Have your say on SEND Information, Advice and Support Services

Overview

SENDIASS provides free information, advice and support to parents, carers, children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The service can help with understanding education rights, navigating the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) process, and resolving disagreements or disputes. Support is available directly to young people aged 16 and over.

The service is free, impartial and confidential.

It is a requirement for all local authorities to commission a SENDIASS. In Kingston and Richmond, this service is currently provided by Polaris Children’s Services, a national organisation that delivers similar services across the country.
