Thank you to those of you who gave us feedback on Kingston's Night Time Economy. The views expressed via the survey and workshops which we held, will be used to inform the new Night Time Strategy and will form part of the recommendations that we decide to take forward. We will update this page when this is ready to share.

Overview

As part of developing Kingston Upon Thames' Evening and Night Time Economy Strategy, we're conducting a survey to gather insights, preferences, and concerns about the borough after 6pm.

This strategy will look at various aspects of the borough after dusk, including:

  • The Night Time Economy (The night time economy refers to the range of economic activities that take place during the evening and early morning hours.  It encompasses a diverse spectrum of industries and services).  We want to better understand your experiences of working in Kingston borough in the evening and what you think about our local facilities/offer.

  • Accessibility of public transport between 6pm and 6am.

  • Feelings of safety at night for those who live, work and visit our borough.

When answering this survey about the night time economy of Kingston borough, think about any type of event, gathering, shopping, social interactions or business activity that you carry out in Kingston after 6pm and before 6am throughout the week.

The results from this survey will contribute towards the development of the Night Time Economy Strategy for the borough which is expected to be published in Spring 2024.

If you visit, study or live in Kingston - please fill out this survey.
