Overview

As part of Communities month Kingston Council are holding Big Conversations all around Kingston Borough.  The idea is to make places and services the best possible in order to live, work and grow. 

 

 

The Big Conversation is about:

  • Getting out into the heart of our communities 
  • Having face to face conversations with people who have experience of their areas and understanding what they need and what they value.
  • Gathering information and sharing it with the right people at the council and with our partners

We are using a simple question as a prompt that will allow a broad range of responses

  • "What do you most like about living, working, or studying around here?"

    • We're aking people to think about what makes the most positive impact on their daily life, or what they would miss if they moved away - what people, places, organisations, activities ?

Our follow up to this question is where we want you to think of the possible and the impossible, how could the things you like most be even better:

  • "We would love our borough to be a place where..."

Conversationalists from Kingston Council will be at the following events, but if you miss an event you can let us know "What you like most about your neighbourhood and what youd like to see more of" via our survey, the link is below:
