Cycling in Kingston

Closed 24 Mar 2025

Opened 20 Jan 2025

Overview

Everyone should feel they can walk, cycle and travel safely and effectively in Kingston. Our vision is to create a fairer, safer, healthier and greener Kingston, and our streets play a major role in this plan.

Anyone can complete the following questions if they are aged over 14 and live, work or study in Kingston, so please share the link with anyone who may be interested.

With over a third of all car journeys under 2km, including school drop offs and travel to work, if more of these were made on cycles, rather than by car it would improve our environment and fitness, and at an average of 6 minutes for a 2km journey, quicker too!

To support more cycling journeys in Kingston we need to know what we can do to make it easier.  It could be to provide more cycle training, help in getting a bike, or safer cycle storage.

Whatever it is - let us know!
