Community Parks Programme

Closes 11 Dec 2024

Opened 4 Nov 2024

Overview

As part of our ongoing work to improve and enhance our green spaces, we're investing £1.3million in our borough's parks. So far, through our Community Parks Programme we have delivered a range of improvement works including footpath resurfacing, playground makeovers and the installation of outdoor gyms in eight green spaces across the borough.

We are delighted to announce the upcoming transformation the playground at Green Lane Recreation Playground (New Malden) and the creation of a brand new playground at Fairfield Recreation Ground. As well as this, two new outdoor gyms are also on the way - one at Churchfields Recreation Ground (Chessington) and another at Latchmere Recreation Ground (North Kingston and Kingston).
