Pests, diseases & climate resilience

Tree pests and diseases are increasing, and climate change is creating additional stress. A resilient urban forest requires biosecurity, species diversity and long-term planning.

Key threats include:

  • Ash Dieback
  • Oak Processionary Moth
  • Dutch Elm Disease
