Have your say on the draft Tree and Woodland Strategy
Protecting existing trees and woodlands
Existing trees provide immediate environmental, climate and community benefits. Some trees are legally protected through Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) or because they are located within Conservation Areas. The council also plays a key role in protecting trees through the planning system and enforcing action where trees are unlawfully removed.
