Tree planting & canopy cover expansion
Increasing tree canopy cover improves air quality, reduces urban heat, manages flood risk, stores carbon, supports biodiversity, and improves health and wellbeing. Expanding tree cover is one of the most effective ways to make Kingston more climate-resilient.
