Kingston’s Local Plan: Habitats Regulations Assessment (Regulation 19)

Sharing your comments in this consultation (formally called ‘making a representation’), means that you have the same opportunity to speak at a public examination of our Local Plan as someone who responded to the main Local Plan (Regulation 19) consultation over the summer. Whether you choose to speak at the hearing or not, your feedback will be presented to the Inspector. You can find out more about the Local Plan process on the GOV.UK website.

No, we can’t accept anonymous responses. This is because all responses are part of a formal public examination of the Local Plan. The Planning Inspector and others will need to know who has made representations to ensure a fair and effective examination.

Your name and comments will be published (including on the Council’s website), but your contact details won’t be.

Kingston Council will use your information only for preparing the Local Plan. Your response will be shared with the Government and the Planning Inspector. For more details, see our full privacy notice.

A copy of all comments received will be made available to the Planning Inspectorate and to the person appointed by the Secretary of State to conduct the examination (i.e. the Inspector). All comments will be ‘made available’ in line with the Regulations (The Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 – Regulations 20, 22 and 35). This includes publication on the Council’s website.
