Memorial Gardens
Results updated 10 Dec 2025
Thank you to all of those who have provided their views and input into the draft design. Following community engagement on the draft proposals, the design was refined and the planning application was submitted and approved. The final design (please see below) ensures the space is welcoming to all residents and visitors, while respecting the space as a garden of memory and its cultural significance for commemoration and ceremony.
Construction is set to begin in early January 2026 and complete by late spring 2026.
